QUEST TEACHERS TRAINING WORKSHOP

Lions Club Chandigarh Greater had conducted a workshop on “Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process” on Dec 23, 24& 25 2017 at RIS.
Continuing the same, the workshop on “Enhancing Teaching and Learning Process had conducted from 21st March to 23rd March, 2018 .Mrs.Manisha Ghanti, an eminent educationist and trainer from Kolkata was the Resource Person in the seminar held during this workshop. She talked about the skills required to tackle the students in their adolescence period.
Around 30 teachers had participated in this workshop. The workshop had been organized to find possible steps to identify problems faced by adolescents to prevent mishaps and ensure safety for young learners and improve the perception of schools as a safe place for knowledge. It had also emphasized that how a child should be tackled and taught in a loving , healthy and safe environment.
This Workshop will bring a positive transformation in teachers and students which will ultimately transform the teaching learning process at RIS.
After completion of this workshop, Rayat International School has been affiliated to LION’S QUEST in INDIA FOUNDATION FOR LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM.

SEMINAR ON SCIENTIFIC SKILLS

In an effort to popularize the benefit of scientific knowledge and practical appropriation a seminar on “Scientific Skills'” was conducted in RIS for class 9th students.

Foran Chand, Science Teacher, International and National Awardee conducted the seminar. He emphasized need of practical knowledge.

Mrs. Subha Rathore, principal of the school appreciated the efforts and motivated the students to be part of sustainable development.

LAURELS WON BY BRILLIANT RAYATIANS AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL

“Winners are those who learn to take full responsibility for their activities”, this has been proved by the shining stars of Rayat International School, who have brought glory to the School by winning International awards. These students participated in Olympiad conducted by SOF, where over 45000 Schools from 30 countries and 1400 cities registered their names. Millions of students appeared in six Olympiads. The organisations like The British Council, Techfest IIT Bombay, Kshitij IIT Kharagpur and Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt of India partnered SOF for Olympiads.  Miss. Chinmay Gupta of Rayat International School secured the 2nd International rank and first zonal rank. For her outstanding performance she is awarded with Rs.25,000/- and International silver Medal. Moreover, she scored  57 out of 60 marks in IMO(International Maths Olympiad) and stood 19th at the International level and 6th at the Zonal level, for this she was awarded with Rs.1000/- and Certificate of Zonal Excellence.

Another brilliant student of class IX, Master. Anubhav Sharma is honoured with 15th rank at the International level ISO and a sum of Rs.2500/- along with Zonal Silver Medal. Principal, Mrs. Subha Rathore congratulated the students and their proud parents for adding feathers to the cap. She motivated the competitive cell run in the School for nurturing such students.

SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY

“Dreams are like stars…… you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny”.

Scholar Badge Ceremony was held at Rayat International School to acknowledge the achievements of our brilliant students who have made both their school and their parents proud. As a hallmark of true academic brilliance, the students were awarded school badges and certificates. It was a proud moment of all present.
