REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT RIS

The 71st Republic Day celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Rayat International School.
A special assembly was organised where students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The school echoed with patriotism, when tiny tots of Kindergarten attired themselves as freedom fighters. The school choir sang a beautiful patriotic song.
The school Principal Ms.Subha Rathore highlighted the significance of the day and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands.

RIS STUDENT TOPS IN JEE (MAINS)

Strong determination to achieve her goal and consistent hard work, particularly during the past two years, helped Chinmya Gupta of Rayat International School to score 99.8 percentile in JEE main-exams.
Chinmya Gupta has been a student of Rayat International School since the beginning.During her 14 yrs stay at RIS, she has been a meritorious student throughout.
Gursimar Singh also scored 85 percentile.

RIS OUTSHINED IN INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITIONS AT ANANDPUR SAHIB

Maintaining the legacy of excellence the students of RIS outshined in Inter-School competitions in which 35 schools from district Ropar participated at Anandpur Sahib on January7, 2020.
In Shabad Gayan (group), RIS bagged first position; Mehakpreet Kaur (+2) bagged second position in Solo Folk song and our students grabbed third position in Model Making Competition and PPT Making competition.

Principal Ms.Subha Rathore congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of teachers.

CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION

Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of love and care.
Soaking in the spirits of Christmas tiny tots of Rayat International School celebrated Christmas day with great enthusiasm on December 24, 2019.The students sang melodious carols and danced beautifully to wish the teachers and classmates.
The significance of the Day was explained through the Christmas story.
The school adorned a festival look and the staff students bid adieu to 2019 and welcomed the new Year 2020 with great zeal.

Trip to Thunderzone

RIS organised a picnic for class nursery, K.G. and I on 30November,2019.The students were excited to reach the destination.They took different rides and enjoyed a lot.

 

Microsoft Club Membership

“Microsoft has provided RIS with one more opportunity by recognising RIS students as Microsoft Club Members.
All the selected Students (13) are participating in various activities in every Microsoft Project under the guidance of convenor Ms. Madhvi Verma.

CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATED AT RIS

“Constitution is not mere lawyer document, it is a vehicle of life, and its spirit is always the spirit of age.”

Constitution Day (National Law Day), also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
On this auspicious occasion of 69th Anniversary of India’s Constitution, RIS organised a special assembly by reciting the Preamble. The students were made to pledge for the proper execution of the constitution. Through a wonderful Role Play students exhibited our rights.

RIS conducted a seminar on ‘Good and Bad Touch’

RIS conducted a seminar on ‘Good and Bad Touch’ for class II to V students. Ms.Nisha Sharma with the help of videos, pictures etc explained the students how to differentiate and identify ‘bad touch’ or other uncomfortable behaviour from others.It was a great initiative for children to understand the prevailing truth of crimes with young ones and how to deal with the same.
