DAY-2 “CLOSING” “ PRATISPARDHA”

Second day of sports festa, “ PRATISPARDHA” started with zest and zeal. It began with formal welcome of S. Nirmal Singh Rayat, Chairman of Rayat group of Institutions. The students enthusiastically participated in all the events. Tug of war was the attraction of the day. The event was a great success and lauded by everyone.
S. Nirmal Singh Rayat, Chairman Rayat group of institutions presented the trophies to the students and declared the 10th annual sports meet closed.
Karanpreet Kaur of Yash house was adjudged the best athlete girls and Avikaran got the best athlete boys. Gaurav house won the best March Past trophy and Yash house won the sports trophy.
The event ended with the National Anthem.

DAY-1 OPENING SPORTO FESTA “PRATISPARDHA”

The tenth Annual Sports Meet “PRATISPARDHA -2019” began on Oct 23,2019 with lots of fervour.
The event began with formal welcome of Chief Guest Sh.Sumeet Jarangal, I.A.S Deputy Commissioner of Ropar and Guest of Honour Dr.Sandeep Kaura MD RGI.
The annual sports was declared open by Sh.Sumeet Jarangal ,DC Ropar by releasing balloons into the sky and lighting the torch.The Principal Ms Subha Rathore welcomed the guests and also highlighted the achievements of RIS.
It was followed by an impressive Inter house March Past which was a great success as students marched to the rhythmic beats of the drum.
The students performed on various forms of PT, Martial Arts, Aerobics,Zumba and Taekwondo that won everyone’s hearts. After Oath taking ceremony students participated wholeheartedly in events like Athletics (100 mt, 200mt, 800mt and 1500mt),
Long jump, one Legged Race, Chatti Race, Sack Race,5000mt, Cycle Race, Three legged race, Slow Cycling, RelayRace etc.
Neck to neck competition was witnessed between the participants and an electrifying excitement could be felt in the air on the first day.

DIWALI CELEBRATIONS

The tiny tots of RIS celebrated DIWALI with full joy and great enthusiasm. Wish you all a very happy, prosperous and safe DIWALI RIS Family.

HINDI WEEK OBSERVED AT RIS

“Language provides a means of communication and serves as a vehicle for expressing thoughts and feelings”.
RIS celebrated ‘Hindi Week’ where linguistic skills, polishing sessions with fun-filled activities were organised from 14th Oct to 21st Oct 2019.
An array of events was conducted with the motive to enhance the language skills and make learning more enjoyable.The various Inter class activities were organised during the week to motivate the children to think and use the ‘Rashtra Bhasha- Hindi’.
Summing up, the panorama of interesting activities motivated the students and facilitated the effective learning and participation of maximum number of students.
The Principal Ms.Subha Rathore congratulated the students for their marvellous performance and highlighted the importance of Hindi Language.
