Trip to Thunderzone

RIS organised a picnic for class nursery, K.G. and I on 30November,2019.The students were excited to reach the destination.They took different rides and enjoyed a lot.

 

Microsoft Club Membership

“Microsoft has provided RIS with one more opportunity by recognising RIS students as Microsoft Club Members.
All the selected Students (13) are participating in various activities in every Microsoft Project under the guidance of convenor Ms. Madhvi Verma.

CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATED AT RIS

“Constitution is not mere lawyer document, it is a vehicle of life, and its spirit is always the spirit of age.”

Constitution Day (National Law Day), also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
On this auspicious occasion of 69th Anniversary of India’s Constitution, RIS organised a special assembly by reciting the Preamble. The students were made to pledge for the proper execution of the constitution. Through a wonderful Role Play students exhibited our rights.

Learning by doing activity @ RIS (Nursery Class)

RIS conducted a seminar on ‘Good and Bad Touch’

RIS conducted a seminar on ‘Good and Bad Touch’ for class II to V students. Ms.Nisha Sharma with the help of videos, pictures etc explained the students how to differentiate and identify ‘bad touch’ or other uncomfortable behaviour from others.It was a great initiative for children to understand the prevailing truth of crimes with young ones and how to deal with the same.

JUNIOR CCA ACTIVITIES HELD AT RIS

In the time and age of auto-correct, predictive text and spell check, the Spell Bee Competition for classes I to III held and students of classes IV and V participated in Inter-House Science Quiz on 16th Nov. 2019 at RIS.
The competition made students aware of spellings and the usage of many unfamiliar words. At the same time, it was a great experience for the students to know some scientific terms and facts through science quiz.

The students of RIS took part in various sports events in District Tournament and set another Benchmark in this field by winning Gold and Silver medals. Totally 8 trophies were won by our benevolent students Iqbal won Gold and Gurmanpreet Singh won Silver medal in Gatka. They were specially appreciated by the judges for wonderful performance rest of the detail is as follows:

The Skype Plastic Clean-up Brigade

RIS has always shown great concern towards environment. As a step ahead in this direction Principal Ms. Subha Rathore along with students of class  X  had a Skype Session regarding “ The Skype Plastic Clean up Brigade” and the host was  Ms. Manuela Correia of Portugal. The causes and preventions of Plastic Pollution were discussed. Ms.Manuela Correia highlighted the usage of bamboo for manufacturing combs and tooth brushes in her country to avoid the use of plastic.
